The British Transplant Games 2024
Running for over 40 years, The Westfield Health British Transplant Games are a celebration of life. The Games are organised on behalf of Transplant Sport whose aim is to raise awareness of the need for organ donation, encourage transplant recipients to lead active lifestyles and show appreciating for, and remember, donors and their families.
Taking place in different host cities every Summer, the games see teams from hospitals across the UK come together to compete in a medley of sports. The 4-day event attracts around 1000 transplant athletes and more than 1700 supporters. Transplant survivors including children as young as five can compete in more than 25 sports and indeed, many athletes also go on to compete at the World Transplant Games.

Transplant Recipients, Supporters, Live Donors and Donor Families should all register for the Westfield Health 2024 Games. The Westfield Health British Transplant Games are an inclusive event encouraging Transplant Recipients of all ability levels to participate. The Games provide an opportunity for new experiences in an encouraging and supportive environment for Recipients, their supporters, Live Donors and Donor Family Members to take part 25 Sports and Events across 4 days whilst promoting the benefits of Organ Donation.
Medical Forms are only required for competitors on dialysis, transplant recipients less than 6 months post-procedure and international attendees not from the British Isles. If applicable, please download and complete the Medical Form for the Nottingham 2024 Westfield Health British Transplant Games. Medical Forms must be completed by Recipients and submitted by 26th May.
